The Watchers are very much the iconic representations of SpiritFire. Every year, a special and very quiet ceremony is done to wake them up, and they’re a powerful presence alongthe outside edge of the circle. Several times over the four nights of celebration, I found myself sitting with my back against them, breathing and thinking.
I’m tired after SpiritFire, but I’m already thinking about next years’s festival and what I’d like to do differently or the same. A little later, when I’m a bit more grounded and centered, I’ll write about it.
