NECC ’09: Wikis in 60 minutes

Well… I’ve not done a very good job of blogging this session, unfortunately.  I’ve been too busy playing with the software and ideas, and thinking about what the tools are, and how to use them.

In essence, a wiki is a series of linked files and pages, created by users and linked to each other by users.  They’re creative, collaborative, and elegant.  I don’t feel like I learned much from this session, but I’m already an experienced Wiki user.

NECC ’09: Beyond Blogging

WordPress can be used as a Content Management System (CMS), because it’s a highly rich environment. It’s particularly useful for single-user or small-group CMS systems.
